Falconets Ready for Malawi Clash in Ikenne on May 2

The Nigeria U20 women's national football team, known as the Falconets, has arrived in Ikenne, Ogun State, in preparation for their first leg of the final qualifying round against Malawi, set for Saturday, May 2, at Remo Star Stadium. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has emphasized the importance of this match as the Falconets aim to secure a strong advantage in their pursuit of qualification for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, which will be hosted in Poland from September 5 to 26, 2026.

Head coach Mr. Mose Aduk has expressed confidence in the team's readiness, highlighting the players' hard work and tactical preparation during their camp in Abuja.

Team captain Joi Igbokw has also reaffirmed the squad's determination and called for national support, emphasizing the significance of the match for the country’s pride.
