Lagos Police Arrest 21-Year-Old with Human Hand, Guns

On Friday, the Lagos State Police Command arrested 21-year-old Samson Onilewaji during a routine stop-and-search operation along the Lekki-Epe Expressway. The police, led by spokesperson SP Abimbola Adebisi, discovered a human right hand, two locally made pistols with live cartridges, two axes, and five ATM cards in the vehicle he was traveling in, which was an unregistered commercial shuttle bus with five occupants.

Following the search, Onilewaji confessed to robbing three individuals, which included the owners of the recovered ATM cards. The police are currently working to identify and contact the victims to return their properties.

Investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the possession of the human hand and the suspect's intentions. Upon completion of the investigation, the suspect and any accomplices will be charged in court.

CP Tijani Fatai reaffirmed the command's commitment to tackling violent crime and urged residents to remain vigilant and provide credible information to support crime prevention efforts.
