Lagos Police Arrest 21-Year-Old with Human Body Part

On Friday, the Lagos State Police Command arrested 21-year-old Samson Onilewaji during a routine stop-and-search operation along the Lekki-Epe Expressway. The police, led by spokesperson Abimbola Adebisi, reported that Onilewaji was found in possession of a human right hand, two locally made pistols with live cartridges, two axes, and five ATM cards.

The arrest occurred when officers intercepted an unregistered commercial shuttle bus carrying six occupants, including Onilewaji. During the search, the suspect confessed to recently robbing three individuals, and the police are currently investigating to identify the owner of the human hand.

The Commissioner of Police for Lagos State, Tijani Olaiwola Fatai, assured residents of the command's commitment to combatting violent crime and urged the public to remain vigilant and support police efforts with credible information. Onilewaji will be charged in court upon the conclusion of the investigation.
