Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Father in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested Peter Sinamai, a 30-year-old resident of Sangere Gombi Local Government Area, for allegedly killing his father and disposing of the body in an abandoned well. The arrest followed a report received by the police, as stated by the command’s spokesman, SP Suleiman Nguroje.

Preliminary investigations indicated that Sinamai killed his father and concealed the body in a well within their community. The state Commissioner of Police, Kabiru Hassan, has ordered a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The corpse has been recovered and is currently deposited at the mortuary for autopsy. Following the investigation's conclusion, the suspect will be charged in court.

Commissioner Hassan condemned the act and reassured the public of the police's commitment to ensuring safety and justice, urging individuals to seek peaceful resolutions to family disputes.
