Police Arrest Abubakar Musa for Nathaniel Yusuf's Murder

Abubakar Musa was arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command in connection with the murder of Nathaniel Yusuf, aged 30, from Jambutu Ward in Yola North Local Government Area. The arrest followed a report lodged by Yusuf's sister, Grace, who alleged that her brother was attacked.

Police spokesperson Suleiman Nguroji stated that officers responded swiftly to a distress call and arrived at the scene to rescue the victim, who was then rushed to a specialist hospital in Jimeta for urgent medical attention. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Yusuf was confirmed dead.

Preliminary investigations revealed that he sustained severe injuries, including fractures to his leg, right hand, and head, allegedly inflicted by Musa using a stick. The Commissioner of Police for Adamawa State, Kabiru Hassan, has directed the State Criminal Investigation Department in Yola to ensure a thorough investigation and diligent prosecution of the suspect in accordance with the law.

The deceased's body has been deposited at a medical facility for autopsy, and investigations are ongoing.
