Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Father in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command arrested 30-year-old Peter Sinamai, a resident of Sangere in Gombi LGA, for allegedly killing his biological father and disposing of the body in a well. Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, announced the arrest during a parade in Yola on Friday, stating that the suspect was apprehended following a report from a community member.

Preliminary investigations indicated that Sinamai killed his father and attempted to conceal the crime by hiding the body in a well. The corpse has been recovered and sent to a mortuary for autopsy.

CP Kabiru Umar Hassan has ordered a thorough investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident and condemned the alleged act. He urged the public to resolve family disputes through lawful and peaceful means.
