Edo Police Arrest Six Suspected Cultists in Hotel Meeting

The Edo State Police Command apprehended six suspected cultists during a meeting at a hotel in Eyaen Community, Benin City. The suspects, including Usifo Omojal and others, were identified as members of a criminal gang involved in activities such as kidnapping, extortion, cultism, and violent acts.

The arrests were made by the Intelligence Rapid Response Team led by CSP Idaba Peter. The suspects confessed to being part of a cult group and were subsequently arraigned in court.

Investigations are ongoing to dismantle the entire network of the gang.
