Oyo Police Arrest Clerics for Alleged Human Parts Sale

The Oyo State Police Command arrested three suspects, including Alfa Onaolapo Taiwo, aged 46, and Pastor Ayodel Taiwo, aged 55, over the alleged sale of suspected human parts. The arrests occurred on Wednesday when a patrol team intercepted a motorcyclist, Oyategb Joseph, who was found with a package containing human flesh and intestines.

During interrogation, Joseph confessed to obtaining the human parts from an unknown individual in the Oritaperin area and admitted to selling them to the two clerics. Following these confessions, the suspects were brought to the police station for further questioning.

The Oyo State Police Command, represented by DSP Olayinka Ayanlad, stated that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for a thorough investigation. The police reassured the public that all necessary measures would be taken to ensure justice is served.
