Oyo Police Arrest Suspect in Murder of Kehind Ogo Ojigbo

The Oyo State Police Command announced the arrest of Giwa Sodiq in connection with the murder of Kehind Ogo Ojigbo, who was fatally injured during a confrontation involving a group of youths in the Asalu community, Lagelu Local Government Area. The incident occurred when community security guards confronted the youths, resulting in Ojigbo being injured.

He was rushed to Ojo Oluwa Hospital in Iyana Offa for medical attention but succumbed to his injuries shortly after. Following the report, a police team led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Iyana Offa promptly responded to the scene and documented the situation.

The deceased's body has been deposited at the Adeoyo State Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy. The police are continuing efforts to apprehend other suspects involved in the incident and have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any criminal activities.
