Oyo State Police Arrest Seven Suspects Over Armed Robbery and Cultism

The Oyo State Police Command made a significant breakthrough by arresting seven suspects involved in armed robbery, murder, and cultism activities across different areas in the state. The suspects were apprehended in locations such as Tede Town, Jobel Town, and Elekara Area.

The arrests were a result of proactive measures taken by the police command to combat violent crimes. Suspects like Yaru Saka and Amodu Saliu were connected to murder cases, while others like Abraham Atund and Sammod Bologun were linked to cult-related disturbances.

Additionally, suspects such as Isiaka Muham, Rukayat Favour Umar, and Mubarak Umar were caught with stolen electronic and household items. The police command, led by Olayinka Ayanlad, emphasized the importance of intelligence-led operations in neutralizing criminal activities.

The statement also highlighted the detention of 25 criminal suspects by the Imo Police Command in January as part of enhanced security strategies.
