Ogun Police Arrest Seven Robbery Suspects, Recover Firearm

The Ogun State Police Command arrested seven robbery suspects and recovered a firearm during a series of operations across the state. The arrests were disclosed by DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi in a statement issued on Friday.
The operations, which were intelligence-driven, took place in Sango Ota and Owod Egba. Three suspects, identified as Pelumi Akintond (21), Moje Sanusi (28), and Mubarak Lateef (17), were apprehended for their alleged involvement in armed robbery incidents in Alasia community, where valuables were forcefully taken.
Additionally, Damilar Makanjuola (22) was arrested in connection with house break theft in Ofada, linked to several burglary incidents. Two other suspects, Tijani Jubril (28) and Ezra Modi (22), were arrested for allegedly attempting to steal electrical appliances in Treasury Island Estate.
Wari Adebesin (22) was also arrested for causing public disturbance near a secondary school. Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, commended the police for their swift response and commitment to dismantling criminal networks.
