Yobe Teenager and Accomplices Arrested for Tricycle Theft, Another Man Apprehended for Robbery

The Yobe State Police Command arrested an 18-year-old suspect, Shettima Adamu, and five alleged accomplices for tricycle theft in Damaturu, the state capital. The arrests were made after a shop owner reported repeated incidents of burglary and theft amounting to N530,000.

The suspects were identified as Abdullahi Abubakar, Mohd Suleman Hassan, Abdulrazaq Abdul Azeez, and others. Additionally, a 38-year-old man, Abdulrazaq Abdul Azeez, was arrested in connection with a robbery involving a tricycle, locally known as Keke Napep, in Potiskum.

The police recovered the stolen tricycle and apprehended two suspects in Kano State. The Commissioner of Police, Emmanuel Ado, emphasized the commitment to combating crime in Yobe State and urged the youth to engage in lawful activities.
