Ogun Police Arrest Three Armed Robbers, Recover Vehicles

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested three suspects involved in armed robbery and recovered three stolen vehicles, including a Toyota Sienna. The suspects, identified as Ham Olarenwaju, Adedokun Ayind, and Adewusi, were apprehended following coordinated investigations into vehicle thefts across Ogun State and neighboring areas.

The breakthrough occurred when police intercepted Ham Olarenwaju, who was found in possession of a suspicious vehicle with altered plate numbers. This led to further investigations that identified Adedokun Ayind as the alleged leader of a robbery syndicate operating within the state.

Additionally, a fabricated pistol believed to be used in armed robberies was recovered during the operation. The police's public relations officer, Deputy Superintendent Oluseyi Babaseyi, confirmed the details of the operation and the ongoing efforts to combat vehicle theft and armed robbery in the region.
