Police Arrest Three Robbery Suspects in Anambra State

On June 19, 2026, the Anambra State Police Command arrested three robbery suspects during a patrol along Igbariam-Achalla Road in Awka North Local Government Area. The operation was led by police spokesman Tochukwu Ikenga.

The suspects, identified as William Ndifon and David Missang, both 27 years old, were riding a daylong motorcycle at the time of their arrest. A thorough search of the suspects resulted in the recovery of a locally made Beretta pistol, live ammunition, six GSM phones, two power banks, a sledgehammer, a chisel, and a quantity of cannabis sativa.

Additionally, one of the suspects was wearing a black polo shirt inscribed with "Nigeria Army Barrack Youth Foundation." The police statement emphasized the ongoing efforts to combat robbery and related criminal activities in the region.
