Oyo Police Arrest Three Armed Robbery Suspects in Ibadan

The Oyo State Police Command announced the arrest of three suspected armed robbers in Ibadan, the state capital, following a coordinated operation by the command’s Monitoring Unit. The suspects, identified as Tomiwa Ayomide (28 years), Haruna Kabiru (32 years), and Haruna Hassan, also known as “Malo” (32 years), were apprehended in the Sabo-Mokola area based on credible intelligence regarding their criminal activities.

During the operation, police recovered one single-barrel, locally made cut-to-size gun and seven cartridges from their hideout. The suspects are currently in police custody while investigations are ongoing to ascertain their involvement in other criminal activities and to identify potential accomplices.

The Oyo State Police Command reiterated its commitment to combating violent crimes and urged residents to provide timely information to assist in these efforts.
