Edo Police Arrest Three Suspected Kidnappers in Jattu

The Edo State Police Command arrested three suspects in connection with the kidnapping of Ibrahim Jemila, who was abducted on May 13, 2026, and later released. The suspects, identified as Nura Dahiru (22), Ibrahim Yakubu (25), and Abubakar Inusa (23), were apprehended following a coordinated operation based on credible intelligence.

The police received information about the suspects shortly after Jemila's abduction, which occurred near Jattu Market. The Edo State Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police, Mondai Agbonika, emphasized its commitment to combating kidnapping and violent crime in the state.

The command urged residents to continue providing timely information to security agencies. This arrest is part of ongoing operations targeting criminal groups involved in kidnapping within Edo State.
