Plateau Police Arrest Two Cultists with Illegal Drugs

The Plateau State Police Command arrested two suspected members of the Sara Suka cult, Adam Abdullahi and Khalifa Yusuf, as part of efforts to curb criminal activities and drug abuse in the state. The arrests were confirmed in a statement on Wednesday, signed by the command's Public Relations Officer, Alfr Alabo.

Adam Abdullahi, 18, was apprehended in Yen Siminti Rikko, found in possession of a double-edged knife and substances believed to be crystal methamphetamine. Khalifa Yusuf, 20, was arrested at a prayer ground opposite the University of Jos, with a knife and dry leaves suspected to be cannabis.

Both suspects are currently in custody and will be charged in court upon the conclusion of investigations. The Plateau State Police Command, led by Commissioner Bassei Ewah, reiterated its commitment to tackling crime and urged residents to support security efforts by providing accurate information.
