Plateau Police Arrest Two Cultists, Seize Drugs and Weapons

The Plateau State Police Command arrested two suspected members of the notorious Sara Suka cult group, Adam Abdullahi, 18, and Khalifa Yusuf, 20, during separate operations. The arrests were disclosed by police spokesperson Alfr Alabo on Wednesday, as part of ongoing efforts led by Commissioner of Police Bassei Ewah to combat crime and drug abuse across the state.

Abdullahi was apprehended with a double-edged knife and crystal methamphetamine, while Yusuf was arrested near a prayer ground opposite the University of Jos, where police recovered a knife and dry leaves suspected to be cannabis. Both suspects are currently in custody and undergoing investigation, with charges to be filed upon conclusion.

The police command urged residents to remain vigilant and support security agencies by providing credible information.
