Police Arrest Two Armed Robbery Suspects in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command announced the arrest of two wanted armed robbery suspects, Abdulhamid Salihu and Alia Baban, on June 10, 2026, following a robbery incident in Unguwar Kara, Mubi. The suspects were apprehended during an operation led by the police, which was informed by intelligence regarding their whereabouts.

The robbery incident resulted in injuries to the victim, Mustapha Ali, who was dispossessed of cash and valuables. Alongside the two suspects, two accomplices remain at large.

The police recovered several exhibits during the operation, including a stolen mobile phone, jewelry, a handbag, a travel bag, and a weapon allegedly used in the commission of the crime. The Adamawa State Police Command has stated its commitment to intensifying efforts to arrest the remaining suspects and ensure the safety and security of residents across the state.
