Enugu Police Arrest Wanted Robbery Suspect in Operation

The Enugu State Police Command announced the arrest of a wanted robbery suspect during an operation led by the command's spokesman, SP Daniel Ndukw. The operation, which took place on May 6 and 7, was part of a crime prevention patrol based on credible intelligence.

The police recovered a stolen motorcycle, hard drugs, and mobile phones during the operation in the Nkwubor area. The suspect, known as "Doc," fled but was later detained.

Additionally, on April 30, a 34-year-old man was arrested on Amagu Ugwu Road, linked to armed robbery cases. The police recovered a stolen white Toyota Hiace bus during this operation.

Enugu State Police Commissioner Mamman Giwa commended the successful operations and reaffirmed the command's commitment to proactive policing. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the suspect's accomplices, and the detained suspect will be arraigned upon the conclusion of the investigation.
