Oyo Police Rescue Kidnap Victim in Successful Operation

The Oyo State Police Command successfully rescued a male kidnap victim following an intelligence-driven operation. According to spokesperson Olayinka Ayanlade, the victim was abducted by hoodlums who invaded the Ojogbodu community, stealing a mobile phone and two motorcycles.

Upon receiving the report, the police promptly mobilized a combined team alongside members of the Amotekun Corps and local hunters. They embarked on an intensive operation, utilizing geolocation tracking intelligence to enhance their rescue efforts.

The sustained pressure on the kidnappers caused them to become disoriented, allowing the victim to escape unharmed. The victim was safely reunited with his family, and police investigations are ongoing.

Ayanlade reassured the public of the command's commitment to ensuring safety and security in the state, emphasizing robust measures to prevent future incidents, including intensified patrols and collaboration with security stakeholders.
