Police Demolish Kidnappers' Hideouts in FCT Operation

The FCT Police Command, led by CP Ahamad Mohammed Sanusi, conducted a significant operation last week to combat kidnapping in the region. During a raid on a suspected hideout, two kidnappers were killed, and five victims, including a pastor, were rescued.

Following the raid, CP Sanusi addressed the media, stating that the demolition of the hideouts was necessary after discovering that the suspects had confessed to using the locations to prepare food for their captives. The hideouts were located beneath rocky hills along the boundary of FCT, Kaduna, and Niger State.

The police have issued a warning to residents, particularly in villages, against harboring kidnappers, emphasizing their commitment to eradicating criminal activities in the territory. The police command vowed to demolish any houses found to be harboring kidnappers and holding victims captive across the FCT.
