Police Deny Kidney Sale Reports in Abuja's Nyanya Area

The Police Command in the Federal Capital Territory, represented by Public Relations Officer SP Josephine Adeh, issued a statement on Wednesday denying the existence of reports regarding the alleged sale of kidneys in the Nyanya area of Abuja. This clarification was prompted by social media publications claiming that young individuals in Nyanya had sold their kidneys for money and that an agent in Mararaba, Nasarawa State, was involved in purchasing these organs.

SP Josephine Adeh emphasized that the command had neither received nor confirmed any such reports and that no official communication had been made regarding the matter. She urged the public to disregard these unverified claims, which could incite unnecessary fear and panic among residents.
