Nigerian Man Deceived into Selling Kidney by Friend

Samuel Ezekiel, a young Nigerian, recounted how his friend, Emmanuel Odeh, allegedly deceived him into selling his kidney at Wellington Hospital in Abuja. Ezekiel stated that Odeh changed his identity to Hassan Abubakar before the kidney removal procedure.

After receiving payment in dollars, Ezekiel handed the money to Odeh, who reportedly spent part of it on phones, power banks, and Wi-Fi devices. The Nigeria Police Force has since paraded suspects linked to this alleged organ-harvesting syndicate.

This incident raises significant concerns regarding human trafficking and organ trade in Nigeria, highlighting the need for increased vigilance and legal action against such crimes.
