Terrorists Kill 33 in Kebbi, Police Reinforcements Deployed

Preliminary investigations indicated that the heavily armed attackers confronted local residents, leading to significant casualties. Earlier reports suggested that at least 34 people were feared killed in the daylight assault, which triggered panic across the wider Kebbi North Senatorial District.

The police emphasized that the incident involved heavily armed criminal elements requiring coordinated security intervention and warned residents against taking the law into their own hands. Usman, a state security force representative, announced targeted operations to track and apprehend the perpetrators and strengthen early warning mechanisms in troubled communities.
