Delta Police Arrest Four in Gun-Running Operation

The Delta State Police Command announced the arrest of four suspects involved in a gun-running operation. The suspects, identified as Emmanuel Chukwuemeka, Clifford Boleyelefa Amadi, Princewil Amadi, and Felix Chibuik, were apprehended following a thorough investigation.

Emmanuel Chukwuemeka was arrested on May 1, 2026, in Bayelsa, alongside a friend whose phone was allegedly used to communicate during firearm purchases. He revealed that he bought a Beretta pistol for ₦290,000 and sold it for ₦380,000.

The operation led to the arrest of Princewil Amadi on May 15, 2026, in Imo State, who was interrogated and admitted to buying a gun from Felix Amadi for ₦200,000. Felix Amadi was subsequently arrested on May 16, 2026, in Owerri, Imo State.

The suspects are reportedly members of the Black Axe confraternity and will face charges upon the completion of the investigation, which includes a manhunt for another suspect, Desmond Ongo.
