Edo Police Foil Kidnapping Attempt, Arrest Suspects on Auchi-Igarra Highway

The Edo State Police Command has successfully foiled a kidnapping attempt by arresting two suspects identified as Muham Muamadu Haru and Abubakar Muham Haruna during a patrol along the Auchi-Igarra Highway. The suspects, believed to be members of a kidnapping syndicate, engaged in a firefight during a rescue operation.

Additionally, a motorcyclist patrol convoy intercepted three kidnapping suspects attempting to block the road, leading to their escape into the forest. The police command commended the officers for their vigilance and professionalism, urging residents to report any suspicious activities promptly.
