Police Launch Manhunt After Couple Killed in Kebbi

On Saturday, the Nigerian Police Force confirmed the murder of a couple, Muhammad Haruna and his wife Habiba Abubakar, in their home located in Asarara Village, Kebbi State. The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 AM.

Police spokesperson Bashir Usman stated that investigations have commenced to track down the unknown assailants responsible for the killings. The police have appealed to the public for assistance in providing information that could help in the investigation.

Residents described Muhammad Haruna as a peaceful and quiet individual, and the community is in shock over the incident. The couple is survived by six children, comprising four boys and two girls.

The police have urged residents to remain calm and cooperate with the ongoing investigation.
