Police Arrest Two Suspected One-Chance Robbers in Rivers

The Rivers State Police Command has arrested two suspected members of a one-chance robbery gang, identified as Uche Samuel, 45, from Omunato Local Government Area of Imo State, and Nkechi Amadi, 42, from Nekede in Imo State. The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Agabe Blessing Kaborlo, announced the arrests in a statement on Saturday, noting that the suspects confessed to their involvement during interrogation.

This operation was part of a broader directive from the Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, aimed at intensifying efforts against one-chance operators in the state. Kaborlo stated that the command has made significant progress in its crackdown on such syndicates and emphasized the commitment to ensuring the safety and security of law-abiding citizens.

The Commissioner warned that there would be no hiding place for criminals and urged the public to remain vigilant and provide timely information to assist the police in their operations.
