Three Arrested in Oyo for Possessing Human Parts

On Tuesday, the Oyo State Police Command announced the arrest of three men in Ibadan for allegedly possessing human parts. The suspects were apprehended during a stop-and-search operation conducted by the patrol team along the Adekil area of Agugu.

The police intercepted an unregistered Bajaj Boxer motorcycle, and upon searching the pillion rider, they discovered a package containing flesh identified as human parts, including intestines. Following this seizure, the police issued a statement confirming that the case would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for a thorough investigation.

The suspects will be charged in court upon the conclusion of the inquiry. The Oyo State Police Command urged the public to remain vigilant and report any information regarding the possession or sale of human parts to the nearest police station, emphasizing the importance of community cooperation in maintaining law and order.
