Police Parade 24 Suspects in Osun Teen's Killing

The Osun State Police Command paraded Kareem Sahe, known as Tanfeani, along with 23 other suspects linked to the killing of 14-year-old Ezekiel Olapad. The incident occurred on June 21, when Sahe's alleged group attacked a palm wine bar located opposite the Irepodun Local Government Secretariat in Ilobu.

Eyewitness accounts indicate that the group opened fire, with a stray bullet fatally hitting Ezekiel. Gbenga Olapad, the deceased's father, accused Sahe of leading the attack.

Sahe denied involvement, claiming he was not present at the scene. The police, led by Commissioner Ibrahim Gotan, are intensifying operations against cultism and political thuggery in the state, emphasizing the need for public safety.

The suspects were also found in possession of firearms and drugs. The police warned cultists and political criminals to desist from actions that could disrupt public peace.
