PDP Demands Investigation into Murder of Osun Teenager

The Osun State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has demanded a comprehensive and impartial investigation into the murder of 14-year-old Ezekiel Olapad, who was allegedly shot dead by political thugs in Ilobu. PDP Chairman Sundai Bisi made the call in a statement, urging Inspector General of Police Olatunji Disu to ensure justice is served.

Bisi insisted that all individuals connected to the crime should be thoroughly investigated, regardless of political affiliation. The incident occurred on June 21, when Olapad was reportedly shot during an attack led by a gang associated with a local political figure, Tanfeani.

The PDP has raised concerns about police actions, alleging that officers invaded the residence of a local party chairman during the investigation. The Osun State Police Command has assured that they will remain politically neutral and uphold the rule of law.

The PDP continues to support Olapad's family in their pursuit of justice.
