Osun SSG Teslim Igbalaye Released Amid Vote-Buying Probe

The Osun State Police Command has released Mr. Teslim Igbalaye, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), from custody after his arrest for allegedly committing vote-buying-related offences.

Alongside Igbalaye, other suspects were identified, including Abiodun Arowomole, known as “Ashipa,” who is a wanted murder suspect, as well as Taiwo Akande, Lukman Adeyemo, Muftau Olaoye, and Musiliu Aderemi.
The police spokesperson, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, confirmed that Igbalaye was released in the afternoon, but emphasized that the investigation into the matter is still ongoing.
