Police Rescue Kidnapped Victim in Adamawa State

The Adamawa State Police Command successfully rescued a kidnapped victim, Alhaji Sidiki Isah, aged 54, who was held captive in Luro Mountain. The operation, which took place under the directive of Commissioner of Police Kabir Hassan, involved the deployment of the Anti-Kidnap Unit in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force.

The police acted on intelligence indicating the victim's location after a ransom demand of N90 million was made by the kidnappers. During the operation, the tactical team cordoned off the area and engaged in a firefight with the kidnappers, resulting in the neutralization of two suspects and the recovery of two AK-47 rifles, 17 rounds of live ammunition, and other items.

The victim was rescued unharmed and reunited with his family. The police command commended the professionalism displayed during the operation and assured residents of ongoing efforts to combat violent crime in the state.
