Ogun Police Arrest 146 Suspects in Sagamu Raids

On April 13, 2026, the Ogun State Police Command conducted a coordinated special operation, code-named "Operation Keep Sagamu Safe," resulting in the arrest of 146 suspects in Sagamu. This operation was initiated following intelligence reports indicating that certain individuals posed a threat to public safety.

The operation involved collaboration with multiple security agencies, including the Nigeria Police Force, military, and local vigilante groups. Public Relations Officer Babaseyi Oluseyi disclosed that the suspects are currently undergoing screening to ascertain their involvement in alleged criminal activities.

Ogun State Police Commissioner Bode Ojajuni praised the professionalism exhibited during the operation and emphasized the commitment to maintaining peace and security in the state.
