Adamawa Police Seize 117 Vehicles for Registration Offenses

The Adamawa State Police Command has intercepted 117 vehicles suspected of operating without proper registration and concealed or altered registration details. This operation was conducted by a special task force under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Kabiru Hassan as part of a nationwide crackdown on vehicle registration offenses.

According to Police Public Relations Officer Suleiman Nguroj, the operation aims to identify vehicles with irregular number plates, which pose serious security threats and undermine efforts to gather intelligence for crime prevention. The police have warned that individuals using unregistered or improperly identified vehicles will face arrest and prosecution under existing laws.

The operation reflects ongoing efforts to address violations related to vehicle registration and enhance public safety in the state.
