Adamawa Police Prosecute 117 Motorists for Violating Laws

The Adamawa State Police Command has commenced the prosecution of 117 motorists arrested for operating vehicles with unregistered, concealed, or tampered number plates. The arrests were made during an ongoing enforcement exercise targeting vehicles that violate registration regulations.

The operation was led by the special task force under the command of Commissioner of Police Dankombo Morri. According to spokesperson Suleiman Nguroj, the apprehended motorists were found violating vehicle registration laws, which pose serious security threats and undermine crime prevention efforts.

The police emphasized the importance of proper vehicle registration and clear display of number plates. The command reiterated its commitment to continuous enforcement exercises across the state to ensure compliance and enhance public safety.

Nguroj urged residents to support ongoing efforts aimed at improving security in Adamawa State.
