Police to Prosecute Attackers of Ebonyi Nursing College

The Ebonyi Police Command has committed to arresting and prosecuting those responsible for the attack on the Ebonyi College of Nursing. The incident took place at approximately 2:00 AM when unidentified gunmen attacked the college, resulting in seven students sustaining injuries.

The police spokesperson, Joshua Ukandu, confirmed that the attack involved a robbery where the assailants stole phones and power banks. Following the incident, the injured students were taken to the General Hospital in Ezzamgbo and another hospital in Abakaliki for treatment.

The police have initiated an investigation to uncover the details surrounding the attack. Additionally, the police have dismissed claims of a similar attack in Nguzu Edda, which was allegedly attributed to Fulani herdsmen invading the village.
