Portable Disqualified in Okocha Rematch at Lagos Fight Night

On Friday, Portable faced Charles Okocha in a rematch at the Chaos in the Ring fight night held at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The bout, titled “Unfinished Business,” was a follow-up to their controversial first fight, which Okocha claimed was unfairly judged in Portable's favor.

During the match, Portable initially seemed to have the advantage, but the fight devolved into a wrestling-like scuffle, leading to the referee's inability to separate the fighters. After the round ended, Portable left the ring before the bout was officially concluded, resulting in boos from the audience.

He was later disqualified when brought back to the ring. This loss is Portable's second in three months, having previously lost to Carter Efe by unanimous decision on May 1 at the same venue.

The event, organized by promoter Ezekiel Adamu, featured several knockouts and drew significant attention, with previous editions generating over two billion video views.
