Presco Plc H1 2026 Results: ₦122.2bn PBT, ₦10 Dividend
Presco Plc has released its unaudited financial results for the half-year ended 30 June 2026, showing a 9.3% year-on-year increase in Profit Before Tax to ₦122.2 billion. The Board has also proposed an interim dividend of ₦10 per ordinary share.
Presco Plc filed its H1 2026 unaudited results on July 29, 2026, disclosing a Profit Before Tax of ₦122.2 billion, up 9.3% from ₦111.9 billion in H1 2025. The company attributed the PBT growth largely to a 31.9% reduction in finance costs. Revenue was broadly flat at ₦198.8 billion compared to ₦198.7 billion in the prior period, while EBITDA stood at ₦123.1 billion, representing a margin of 61.9%.
On the balance sheet, total liabilities declined 42.5% to ₦277.8 billion, while total equity rose 13.8% to ₦503.6 billion. Retained earnings grew 34.0% to ₦258.4 billion, and the company reported a current ratio of 345.6%. The H1 2026 PBT figure represents 69% of the company's full-year 2025 PBT.
The Board has proposed an interim dividend of ₦10 per ordinary share. The filing also disclosed that the 2025 Annual General Meeting has been postponed due to pending court appeals related to the 2024 and 2025 AGMs, with the company awaiting the Court of Appeal's judgment. Presco stated it will provide updates on the AGM as they become available.
