Nigerian Presidency Denies Sacking of Gbajabiamila as Tinubu's Chief of Staff

The Nigerian Presidency has refuted rumors circulating on social media about the removal of Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff to Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The reports alleged that Hakeem Muri-Okunola had replaced Gbajabiamila, causing public speculation.

However, the Presidency firmly denied these claims, labeling them as false and misleading. Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, emphasized that Gbajabiamila remains in his position, and Muri-Okunola has not replaced him.

The statement warned against spreading unverified information to prevent confusion and tension within the government circles.
