NDC Lacks Immediate Plans for Nigeria, Claims Ardo

Dr. Umair Ardo, a member of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), stated that the party has no immediate plans to address the needs of the Nigerian populace.

During a press conference in Abuja, he expressed concerns regarding the NDC's registration with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), alleging that the process was shrouded in fraud. Ardo insisted that the NDC had not obtained a certified copy of its registration with INEC and highlighted that the party failed to pay the mandatory N2 million administrative fee required for registration.

He noted that without this payment, the NDC could not fill out the necessary forms or upload required documents to INEC's portal. Furthermore, Ardo criticized the party's lack of a clear ideology or manifesto, stating that it could not boast of a known agenda for governance.

He also mentioned that the NDC's registration process was flawed, as it did not comply with the Electoral Act's guidelines, which could hinder its participation in future elections.
