Nigeria's She’sIncluded 2026 Summit to Empower Women

The Presidency has announced a strategic focus on sustainable women's wealth creation to eliminate reliance on traditional, temporary handouts. This initiative is led by the Presidential Committee on Economic and Financial Inclusion (PreCEFI) in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs.

They will host the She’sIncluded 2026 Summit on August 19 and 20, 2026, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja. This high-level summit aims to accelerate women's economic empowerment, enhance financial inclusion, and promote inclusive national growth.

It will gather senior government officials, regulators, development partners, financial institutions, private sector leaders, and international stakeholders to devise practical strategies for expanding economic opportunities for Nigerian women. Dr.

Nurudeen Zauro, Technical Adviser to the President on Economic and Financial Inclusion, emphasized the administration's commitment under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to empower women as wealth creators and business owners, moving beyond the era of viewing them solely as beneficiaries of government interventions.
