Presidency Launches She’sIncluded 2026 Summit for Women

The Presidency has announced a shift towards sustainable women's wealth creation and grassroots economic inclusion, aiming to end reliance on temporary government handouts. The Presidential Committee on Economic and Financial Inclusion (PreCEFI), in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, will host the She’sIncluded 2026 Summit on August 19-20, 2026, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

This summit will gather senior government officials, regulators, development partners, financial institutions, and private sector leaders to develop strategies for enhancing economic opportunities for Nigerian women. Dr.

Nurudeen Zauro, Technical Adviser to the President on Economic and Financial Inclusion, emphasized that the summit marks a transition from policy discussions to actionable implementation. The inaugural summit in 2025 led to the Aso Accord, which committed stakeholders to advancing women's economic inclusion.

The 2026 summit will focus on mobilizing investments and creating pathways for women in finance, entrepreneurship, and technology, with clear ownership and accountability for outcomes.
