Tinubu Celebrates Etsu Nupe's 74th Birthday and Legacy

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, on the occasion of his 74th birthday and 23rd anniversary on the throne. In a personally signed message, President Tinubu commended Alhaji Abubakar for his patriotic service to Nigeria and his leadership role within the traditional institutions of the country.

He highlighted the Etsu Nupe's contributions to national development and his promotion of the values associated with traditional leadership. President Tinubu described Alhaji Abubakar as a figure of grace, integrity, and discipline, noting his prior service in the army where he attained the rank of Brigadier-General before becoming a traditional ruler.

The President expressed gratitude for the Etsu Nupe's efforts in fostering peace and unity among citizens and prayed for his continued good health and a prosperous reign over the Nupe Kingdom.
