President Tinubu Honors Pa Fasoranti at 100th Birthday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu celebrated the 100th birthday of Chief Reuben Fasoranti, an elder statesman, in Akur, Ondo State. During the celebration, Tinubu expressed gratitude for Fasoranti's lifelong service to the nation, emphasizing his commitment to education, democracy, and justice.

The President noted that Fasoranti dedicated his life to fighting for the oppressed and lending a voice to various causes. Tinubu remarked that the elder statesman stood as a beacon of hope for the people and served the country’s leaders selflessly, without pursuing personal interests.

He acknowledged that Fasoranti's pursuit of a just and fair system came at great personal risk, as he faced threats to his life. The event was also attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, who recognized the significance of Fasoranti's contributions to Nigeria's political landscape.
