Tinubu Considers Welfare Package for Information Sector

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is contemplating measures to improve the welfare package for personnel within Nigeria's information sector. This was disclosed by the Information Minister, Mohammed Idris, during the second day of activities marking the 2026 Civil Service Week celebrations at the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation in Abuja.

The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen public service and enhance service delivery. Minister Idris assured that the administration remains committed to rewarding dedicated professionals and improving welfare, particularly within the information sector.

The event also featured the presentation of certificates of recognition to deserving staff members for their outstanding contributions to the ministry's growth and development.
