President Tinubu Suspends APC E-Registration in Kano Amid Political Developments

President Tinubu has ordered the suspension of the APC electronic registration exercise in Kano State, as revealed by Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, a member of the House of Representatives.

The decision was made following a directive from Tinubu and the national leadership of the APC. The move comes amid ongoing political developments involving the Kano governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, who is speculated to be defecting to the APC.

Doguwa suggested a link between the suspension and the governor's potential defection. The APC had planned to kick off the registration exercise in Kano, with Abdullahi Umar Ganduje expected to attend.

However, the process has been paused pending the governor's official defection.
