President Tinubu Appoints Muttaqha Darma as Housing Minister

Darma holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool, a PhD in Industrial Engineering from an institution in the United States, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bayero University Kano, and a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Benin.

He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Nigerian Institute of Management. Prior to this appointment, Darma served as the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund from 2008 to 2012 and held positions at the Commission for Housing, the Transport Commission, and the Rural Social Development in Katsina State.

He was also appointed by President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua to lead the Human Development Centre in Katsina.
