PressPayNG Empowers 200 Students in Peacebuilding Initiative

PressPayNG, led by CEO Abiola Metilelu, has successfully equipped 200 students in Nigeria with essential skills for peace and nation-building. The initiative was part of the Peace Studies Forum 2026, supported by UNESCO, which focused on youth engagement strategies for peacebuilding.

Keynote speaker Petra Akinti Onyegbul, Head of Government Strategic Partnerships, highlighted the need for young Nigerians to actively participate in national discourse and become architects of peace. The forum emphasized that Nigeria's challenges extend beyond policy issues and require a collective identity focused on peace.

It was noted that economic growth is unattainable in an unstable environment, and youth must be equipped to manage diversity and lead constructive engagements. The forum culminated in three months of deliberations, reinforcing the importance of youth-led initiatives within the broader national youth development agenda.
